The Ristorante Zù’s kitchen is mainly based on freshwater fish. However, a broad variety of alternatives is available for those among our guests, who are eager to try some of our excellent choice of meat dishes.
Our freshwater-fish plates contain the following: lake cisco, samlet, perch, eel, burbot and freshwater lobster. All dishes are being prepared in an innovative way, or according to tradition. One of the last professional fishermen of the Lake of Iseo supplies the fresh products daily. He casts his nets right underneath our terrace and sometimes gives our guests the opportunity of watching him carrying on his ancient trade.

Our kitchen also includes a broad variety of seafish. These are chosen daily by the chef so that only best quality can be assured.
Bass, turbot, tuna, chicken, shellfish, mussels and many more, raw or cooked; everything is prepared in an unpretentious and gentle way to preserve the original taste of the delicious fish from both local and foreign waters.
All plain and filled pasta variations are handmade. The same is true for the desserts. By that means, exquisite delicacies are produced in the kitchen of the Ristorante Zù. Don’t miss it!
